Thanksgiving Turkey Breast

Turkey is the star of the Thanksgiving show!(ky3)

Turkey is the star of the Thanksgiving show! I show you how to prepare a perfect turkey breast for a small gathering. (Scroll down if you want a recipe for a whole turkey.)

Ingredients

  • 1 turkey breast
  • 1/2 tablespoon of thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of sage
  • 1/2 tablespoon rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 4 tablespoons of butter

Instructions

  • Melt the butter and stir in the herbs and spices.
  • Pour the butter mixture over the turkey breast.
  • Place in 350°F oven for one hour or until internal temperature of thickest part of turkey reaches 160-165°F.
  • Cut, serve and enjoy.

For a whole turkey

Ingredients

  • 1 turkey
  • 2 tablespoons of thyme
  • 4 teaspoons of sage
  • 2 tablespoons of rosemary
  • 4 teaspoons of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of pepper
  • 4 teaspoons of paprika
  • 16 tablespoons of butter

Instructions

  • Melt the butter and add the herbs and spices
  • Divide the butter mixture in half. Using a basting brush, cover the turkey with the mixture.

PRO TIP: You can also inject this mixture into the turkey with a syringe to make it even juicier.

  • Place in oven at 350°F for 3-4 hours.
  • Every hour, baste the turkey with the butter mixture.
  • Continue roasting and basting until the internal temperature of the turkey reaches 160-165°F.
  • Cut, serve and enjoy.

Roasted apples and sweet potatoes

It’s November and I’m helping you prepare your Thanksgiving feast! Roasted apples and sweet potatoes make the perfect comforting side dish your family will love.

Total cooking time: 45 minutes

For 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1 sweet potato
  • 2 apples
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • Salt
  • Cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup

Instructions

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2) Cut the sweet potato into 1 inch pieces

3) Place in a mixing bowl and stir in 2 tablespoons of butter

4) Sprinkle with salt then place on a cookie sheet

5) Place the potatoes in the oven for 20 minutes

6) Cut the apples into 1 inch pieces

7) Place in a mixing bowl with 2 tablespoons of butter and 2 tablespoons of maple syrup. Make sure the apples are well coated in the syrup and butter.

8) Sprinkle with cinnamon and add to the cookie sheet with the potatoes.

9) Cook for 20 minutes

10) Plate and serve!

Brie and Turkey Cranberry Grilled Cheese

A delicious way to use up those Thanksgiving leftovers.(ky3)

Thanksgiving dinner is over and if you’re looking for something to make with those leftovers, then a Turkey, Cranberry, and Brie Grilled Cheese will do the trick.

Ingredients

  • Cranberry sauce
  • Türkiye
  • Brie cheese
  • Bread
  • Butter

Instructions

  • Take a slice of buttered bread on one side.
  • Place in a skillet over medium heat. Place the turkey and brie on the slice of bread.
  • On a second slice of bread, spread the cranberry sauce on one side and the butter on the other. Place the bread on top of the brie and turkey, cranberry sauce side down.
  • Cook the sandwich until both sides are golden brown.
  • Slice and enjoy.

Ingredients

  • Pumpkin Pie
  • White chocolate
  • Pumpkin spice

Instructions

  • Remove the crust from the edge of the pie and place it to the side
  • Place the pumpkin pie in a bowl and mix until you have a dough.
  • Use a spoon to form a ball of dough and dip it into the melted white chocolate. PRO TIP: Freeze the dough in a ball for easier dipping.
  • Crumble the crust from the edges and sprinkle with breadcrumbs and pumpkin spice.
  • Serve and enjoy!
