Judd Nelson, best known for his role in the 1985 classic The Breakfast Club, was spotted out and about in Los Angeles.

The 64-year-old actor plays John Bender, a rule-breaker whose good side shines through by the end of the film, alongside Emilio Estevez, Molly Ringwald, Ally Sheedy and Anthony Michael Hall.

He was spotted wearing a casual outfit with blue jeans, a gray top and a navy vest jacket, along with a pair of glasses.

The movie star, who won an MTV Film and Television Award for her role in Breakfast Club, is not often seen in public, but has maintained a career (away from major Hollywood projects) over the years.

In the 80s, he also appeared in The Transformers: The Movie as the voice of Rodimus Prime and From The Hip.

In recent years, he has appeared in a range of genres, TV shows and films, including the star-studded 2018 film, Billionaire Boys Club.

He played Dash Donnelly in the romantic TV film The Engagement Plan, Daniel Brayer in the horror film Dante’s Hotel and Marcus Rainsford in the festive film Save Christmas.

The actor even has two upcoming projects, including the 2024 thriller The Final Run alongside Jeff Fahey and the new drama In-Security which is currently in production.

He’s notably absent from Hulu’s new documentary, Brats, which looks back at the series of ’80s actors who starred in the era’s major coming-of-age films.

It’s directed and based on the memoir of St Elmo’s Fire star Andrew McCarthy, who explained why Molly and Judd weren’t in it.

According to an interview in Entertainment Tonight, both actors declined Andrew’s request.

“I mean, they’re both in the movie in the sense that there’s a lot of clips and interviews and all that,” the Pretty in Pink star said.

“The Brat Pack is an ongoing relationship, you know what I mean? And some people are at different points in their lives whether they want to talk about it or not. I think that informs it even more. I mean, that’s what I take away from that,” he added.

Although in another interview on Sirius XM’s Andy Cohen Live, he claimed that Judd initially showed some interest.

“When I called Judd, he was the most excited of all…and he just jumped into almost every Brat Pack.”

McCarthy added, “And that’s when I said to him, which is in the movie, you know, ‘Don’t tell me now.’ I want all of this to be filmed. Slow down, Judd. I’ll come to Los Angeles and we’ll sit down.

But his cameo never materialized.

Meanwhile, Molly, 56, made headlines earlier this year when she opened up about having to deal with “predators” in Hollywood from a young age.

On the WTF podcast with Marc Maron, she said she was “definitely in questionable situations.”

She then added, “But I have an incredible survival instinct and a pretty big superego and I’ve somehow managed to find a way to protect myself.” But it can be painful.
