X Financial reports increase third quarter profit

BEIJING (dpa-AFX) – X Financial (XYF) reported third-quarter profit, up from the same period last year

The company’s net profit was RMB 375.84 million, or RMB 7.74 per share. This compares to RMB 347.19 million, or RMB 7.02 per share, in the third quarter of last year.

Excluding items, X Financial reported adjusted profit of RMB 433.63 million or RMB 8.88 per share for the period.

The company’s revenue for the quarter increased 13.3% to RMB 1.582 billion from RMB 1.396 billion last year.
