Coach Mike Norvell ended its six-game losing streak with a mercifully dominant 41-7 victory over FCS opponent Charleston Southern last week. Freshman quarterback Luke Kromenhoek impressed in his first start, throwing for 209 yards and three touchdowns while adding 31 yards on eight carries.

Florida started out just as poorly, but after back-to-back losses to LSU and Ole Miss, the Gators (6-5) are one of the hottest teams in college football. Their star freshman quarterback, DJ Lagway, passed for 406 yards and three touchdowns during UF’s two-game winning streak. Additionally, Billy Napier knocked down several FSU recruits, the latest being four-star running back Byron Louis.
