Valcom and CCC provide battlefield antennas to US DLA Land and Maritime

CCC was awarded a contract by the United States Department of Defense (US DoD) to supply Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land and Maritime Columbus with Tactical/Manpack Near Vertical Incidence Skywave (NVIS) antennas manufactured by Valcom Manufacturing. DLA Land and Maritime, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, is responsible for providing land and maritime weapons systems to the United States Army, Navy, and Marine Corps.

Valcom’s NVIS Tactical/Manpack Antenna is specifically designed to optimize communication in conditions where traditional line-of-sight radios might fail. It provides short-range communication by bouncing radio waves off the ionosphere, making it ideal for harsh environments. Its portable and rugged design is suitable for military operations that require reliability in harsh weather conditions, making the NVIS Tactical/Manpack Antenna an effective tool for maintaining uninterrupted communication in tactical scenarios.
