Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the 4th generation Dzire, India’s favorite compact sedan, with prices starting from Rs 6.79 lakh. Renowned for its reliability and exceptional fuel efficiency, the new Dzire is a serious competitor in the sub-4m sedan segment.
Building on a heritage of more than 2.7 million units sold, the latest model brings a refreshed European-inspired design, higher safety ratings and improved features. Notably, it now boasts a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating, addressing previous safety concerns. Available in multiple variants, the Dzire offers petrol, CNG, manual and automatic transmission options.
The price of the new Dzire ranges from Rs 6.79 lakh to Rs 10.14 lakh (ex-showroom), with CNG variants priced at Rs 8.74 lakh and Rs 9.74 lakh. For greater affordability, Maruti also offers a subscription plan starting at Rs 18,248 per month.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire 2024: Pricing by variant

Maruti has introduced the 2024 Dzire in nine variants, similar to the Swift range. Here is a breakdown of the prices:

Automatic transmission is not available for the base LXI variant. CNG options are offered in VXI and ZXI trims, and a subscription service is available starting at Rs 18,248 per month. Maruti will continue to produce the third generation Dzire exclusively for fleet and taxi operators, while the fourth generation Dzire is reserved for private buyers.

Interior Features

The Dzire’s cabin takes inspiration from the Swift, with lighter beige tones and textured accents for a premium look. New interior highlights include a power sunroof and a 360-degree camera. The spacious 382 liter trunk adds additional convenience. Safety upgrades include ABS with EBD, six airbags, hill hold assist, ESP, traction control, reverse parking sensors and seat belt reminders.
Advanced technology is a strong point, with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay, keyless entry and a 360-degree camera. The Dzire 2024 is available in seven colors: Gallant Red, Nutmeg Brown, Seductive Blue, Bluish Black, Magma Grey, Arctic White and Splendid Silver. Additionally, Maruti offers two accessory packs for personalized styling: Chromico, with chrome accents, and Copperico, with copper finishes.

Exterior Features

Built on the updated Heartect platform, the new Dzire features a modern front and rear bumper design, a bold grille with horizontal slats and stylish LED headlights. Two-tone silver and black alloy wheels enhance its sporty look, while LED taillights with Y-shaped inserts and a chrome-accented trunk lid provide a unique and sophisticated touch.
Accessories such as a 9-inch floating touchscreen, wireless phone charger, rear air vents, Type-C charging ports and a power sunroof add even more convenience and style to the vehicle. Pricing details for the accessory packs have not yet been disclosed.
