Raiders at Chiefs: How to watch, odds and expert picks for NFL Black Friday game

The AFC’s top team will take on the bottom-dweller when the Kansas City Chiefs host the Las Vegas Raiders for Game 2 of NFL Black Friday. The Chiefs are the definitive favorites for this AFC West affair.

Kansas City (10-1) is tied with Detroit for the best record in the league but is only 11th in point differential (+52). Eight of the Chiefs’ victories have been by seven points or fewer, including last week’s 30-27 victory over the 3-8 Carolina Panthers. After the game, quarterback Patrick Mahomes said, “You want to have blowouts. “Perhaps the time is right for that to happen in Week 13.

Las Vegas (2-9) has lost seven straight, a streak that includes a 27-20 home loss to Kansas City a month ago. This season, the Raiders have been outscored by 108 points, are dead last in rushing offense (74.6 yards per game) and 28th in total offense (292.6 yards per game).

Quarterback play has been an issue throughout, and Week 1 starter Gardner Minshew will miss the rest of the season after breaking his collarbone in last week’s 29-19 loss to the Denver Broncos. Aidan O’Connell, who started in Weeks 6 and 7 before fracturing his thumb, is expected to be activated from injured reserve and start Sunday. If O’Connell is not cleared, Desmond Ridder, the former Atlanta Falcons starter who was signed to Las Vegas’ practice squad in October, would get the call.

Of course, the Chiefs are in a different league at the quarterback position. Mahomes is 11-2 against the Raiders in his career, posting a ridiculous 32:5 touchdown-to-interception ratio while averaging 295 passing yards per game in this rivalry. Mahomes and the offense should also get a huge boost with the expected return of running back Isiah Pacheco, who has been out since breaking his fibula in Week 2.
