Rupali Ganguly shares cryptic message amid ongoing feud with daughter-in-law Esha Verma: ‘I have to prove…’

Rupali Ganguly is embroiled in a family feud after her daughter-in-law Esha Verma claimed that she broke up her mother’s marriage. Today, the Anupamaa actor shared a cryptic post on social media, sparking speculation that it could be linked to the ongoing conflict. On Friday afternoon, Rupali took to her Instagram story to reshare a post. In the post, Rupali claims that she “doesn’t have to prove anything” to anyone, seemingly addressing the rumors and controversies surrounding her personal life.

The message read: “Learn to agree with people who don’t know your side of the story. You don’t have to prove anything to anyone.”

The image accompanied by the quote shows a caricature of a young girl relaxing on a beanbag, sipping a drink. Rupali also added the popular track Money by Lisa from Blackpink, along with the story.

About the family feud

It all started after an old post of Esha from 2020 resurfaced on social media and went viral. In the post, Esha made allegations against Rupali, accusing him of breaking up Ashwin K Verma’s marriage. She claimed that Rupali would threaten Esha and her mother. On November 10, Esha shared a video on Instagram in which she talked about her half-brother Rudransh.

After this, Ashwin released a statement clarifying that Rupali had nothing to do with his divorce. Rupali also sent him a defamation notice for the amount of ₹50 million. After this, Esha deleted the video and made her Instagram account private.

According to Esha, her mother Sapna and Ashwin got married in 1997 and separated in 2008. Esha, 26, lives in New Jersey, USA. Ashwin has two daughters from his previous marriages. He married Rupali in 2013. They have a son Rudransh.

Esha is yet to respond to the defamation notice, although she has deleted her Instagram post. Speaking to News18, Rupali’s lawyer Sana revealed that the actor decided to send the defamation notice to Esha. She added that Esha’s “false and malicious allegations” have “caused immense emotional distress and mental anguish” to Rupali.
