Fire breaks out in Mirchowk apartment, no injuries reported – Telangana Today

Hyderabad: A fire broke out in an apartment complex in Mirchowk, in the older part of the city, causing panic in the surrounding area on Friday.

No one was injured in the fire and a short circuit could have caused the fire.


Firefighters fought for more than two hours to control the flames with great difficulty.

According to police, the fire broke out and quickly spread throughout the apartment and a family residing there was trapped in the flames which ravaged the surrounding area. Residents began screaming for help as the fire spread quickly.

After receiving information, local police and firefighters arrived at the scene and the residents of the house managed to escape as the flames swept through the house in a joint law enforcement operation.

Panicked residents of apartments on other floors and in other buildings rushed outside as the leaping flames quickly engulfed the apartment.

Although there were no deaths, the incident caused significant damage to the apartment. Police are investigating the cause of the fire and estimating the damaged property.
