Two NFL teams headed in opposite directions face off on Black Friday as the Kansas City Chiefs host the Las Vegas Raiders.

Las Vegas (2-9 SU, 4-7 ATS) is all but eliminated from playoff contention, but the Raiders would love to topple their fierce AFC West rival. They played within six points of the Chiefs (10-1 SU, 5-6 ATS) in the first meeting in Vegas.

Kansas City sits in first place in the AFC standings and can clinch the No. 1 seed for the playoffs if it wins the rest of its games.

The Chiefs are favorites with 12 or 12.5 points over the Raiders. The over/under is 42.5 points. Here are our top picks for NFL Black Friday games and player accessories for Raiders vs. Chiefs.

Patrick Mahomes passes touchdowns on 1.5

Best Odds: -135 at bet365 Sportsbook

After a slow start with spectators wondering if the Chiefs could win without quarterback Patrick Mahomes producing at his usual level, the two-time NFL MVP took it over.

Mahomes threw six touchdown passes in his first six games, but has thrown 12 in his last five. The streak began when he threw two touchdown passes against the Raiders in Las Vegas on October 27.

Kansas City beat the lowly Carolina Panthers last weekend with a field goal as time expired, marking its fifth victory this season. Afterward, Mahomes said, “You want to have blowouts. »

Could this trigger the offensive play to try to put a few games away early, thereby raising the ceiling on Mahomes’ passing stats? This seems likely.

Noah Gray, anytime touchdown scorer

Best Odds: +410 at Caesars Sportsbook

The only thing Mahomes needs to do to add to his legacy is win more Super Bowls, but he’s doing something this season that sets him apart from his peers in a different way.

With receivers Hollywood Brown and Rashee Rice suffering season-ending injuries, Mahomes has been forced to find other players to make big plays in the passing game. He’s done a great job in that area, and lately the biggest recipient has been tight end Noah Gray.

Gray has four games with four receptions this season, including two in a row. He also has four touchdowns in the last two games, so he has Mahomes’ trust when a scoring opportunity arises. Those touchdowns didn’t come any closer to the goal line either. Last week, Gray caught a 35-yard touchdown pass.

Gray’s emergence coincides with a game against the Raiders, who are among the worst teams in the league in allowing touchdowns to tight ends. They have allowed five in the last three games.

Why not turn to Travis Kelce if that’s the case? Kelce hasn’t been consistent against the Raiders over the past four seasons. He hasn’t scored in five of his last seven games against the Raiders. The price (+130 odds on FanDuel Sportsbook) for Kelce does not have the same value as the price for Gray.

The Chiefs team has more than 26.5 points

Best Odds: -135 at DraftKings Sportsbook

Three things in life are certain: death, taxes and the Chiefs dominating the Raiders defense.

Mahomes has faced the Raiders 13 times since becoming KC’s starter in 2018. The Chiefs have averaged 33.1 points in those games. They have scored under 26.5 points twice in 13 games, and one of those instances was by 26 points.

Las Vegas has allowed 32.8 points per game in its last four games, including 27 against Kansas City on October 27. The Raiders have lost seven games in a row and have shown no signs of righting the ship. The Chiefs could deliver a knockout blow early and rob the Raiders of any will to fight.
