BLACKPINK star Lisa excited fans with her brief but impactful appearance in the White Lotus season 3 teaser. While fans eagerly await the series premiere, the talented singer is keeping them engaged with her new music. Since BLACKPINK’s hiatus, each member, including Lisa, has released their solo projects. Despite her high fame, Lisa recently shared that she was “scared and nervous” before releasing her solo music. However, the South Korean singer now says she is enjoying the process and feels healed by the positive response from fans. Lisa also hinted that the BLACKPINK reunion will be planned for 2025.

Speaking to Billboard, Lisa said: “At first I was scared and nervous because I never really came here to do my own thing. And now I’m having fun. When (my singles) came out, the reaction from the fans, it healed me. It’s like, “Oh, my God. Yeah, I did a great job.”

Lisa currently has no plans to go on a solo tour, as she feels she needs to finish her album first. While working on her tracks, she admits that she often listens to her own album, to determine the best order of tracks and what changes are needed. Some of the unfinished songs she worked on have a similar style to artists like MIA and Nelly Furtado. When asked if the album would contain ballads, she mentioned that the album contained a mixture of different styles and she is confident that fans will be surprised by her ability to experiment with many genres and sounds.

Rapper BLACKPINK began her solo career in 2021 with the release of Lalisa and Money. In June 2024, she released a new single titled Rockstar. She then collaborated with Rosalia for New Woman, released in August, and in October she released another single, Moonlit Floor.

Admiring her fellow BLACKPINK members Jennie, Rose, and Jisoo, Lisa adds, “We know each other so well and know how much energy we have to put into each project. So we want to support you and say, “You did really well. “For example, Jennie and Rosie just released their own songs, and we’re on lyrics, we’re on FaceTime. They are like family. I’m so happy they’re publishing something. That’s what we all wanted to do, so I just wanted to say that I really like their songs.”

Confirming the group’s reunion in 2025, she said: “I can’t wait. »

After BLACKPINK members’ contracts with their agency, YG Entertainment, ended, Jennie launched her own label called Odd Atelier, while Lisa launched her label, LLOUD. Jisoo also created her own label, BLISOO. In June 2024, Rose signed a management contract with The Black Label.
