Inside I’m a Celebrity spotlights Maura Higgins and Olivia Attwood’s ‘copycat’ careers amid ‘feud’ rumors

SHOCK The I’m A Celebrity feud erupted this week, as Olivia Attwood appeared to furiously lash out at Maura Higgins.

Former campmate Olivia – who left the jungle after just 48 hours in 2022 – told fans she was keeping a secret that would “blow your mind” as she accused someone of copying her.

She wrote: “One day I’m going to write a book and some of the stuff I’ve managed to keep (zipped mouth emoji) over the years.

“It will blow your mind.

“You can try to hire the same people, regurgitate my stories as yours, study the playbook, follow the recipe blah blah blah, but it will NEVER taste the same. That’s it.”

While we initially thought Olivia was referring to Maura, it turns out she was talking about an entirely different Love Island star.

But Olivia and Maura have had very similar careers, and Maura recently signed with the same PR company as Olivia, leading many to speculate that Olivia was subtly referring to her. Here’s a sneak peek…

RING AND GRID FOR GIRLS

Before finding fame on Love Island, Maura and Olivia both had careers at Monster. Energythat’s when they met.

Speaking to The Sun in 2019, Olivia said: “I know Maura. We worked together. All I know about her is what you see.

They have been photographed together on several occasions, including working for the drinks brand in all-black outfits.

The pair looked like firm friends in the throwback snaps, as they enjoyed their modeling careers in 2017, just months before Olivia rose to fame on Love Island.

They had posed together for various photo shoots, notably by a pool in a bikini.

Olivia and Maura both worked as Motorsport Grid Girls and mixed in the same circles before their fame on Love Island.

LOVE ISLAND

The fact that Olivia and Maura took part in Love Island is a no-brainer, as it was the show they respectively posted about that became famous.

Olivia was the first to continue and took part in the show in 2017.

In addition to looking for love, Olivia said she is participating in ITV2 show “for the experience”.

She explained: “It’s just me. I want the experience of life to be a memory.

Chris won her affections and the couple had a roller coaster ride in their relationship.

Olivia, who is now married to a footballer Bradley Dackhas since claimed that she actually went on the show after Bradley cheated on her, and that was the case. conduct force behind it all.

The two weren’t originally together, but sparks flew after Curtis broke up with Amy Hart in the villa.

After finishing fourth and returning to England together, these two seemed to grow stronger.

But in early 2020, the couple decided to split as Curtis was accused of cheating – which he strongly denies.

TV PRESENTATION

Olivia and Maura have had very successful careers since leaving the Love Island villa – and both have landed huge presenting gigs.

After appearing on Love Island, Maura appeared regularly on This Morning, presenting an agony aunt segment.

In 2020, she appeared on the twelfth series of Dancing On Ice with her professional dance partner Alexander Demetriou. She was eliminated during the seventh week.

Maura has also appeared on celebrity game shows including Celebrity Juice, I’ll Get This and The Wheel.

In September 2021, it was announced that she would present the Irish version of Glow Up: Britain’s Following Make up Star.

And since 2022, Maura has been part of the Love Island USA presenting team.

Olivia also rose to fame as a presenter after landing huge shows post-villa.

She has appeared on Celebs Go Dating as well as The Only Way Is Essex.

Olivia has also had her own TV shows such as Olivia Meets Her Match which she films alongside her fiancé Bradley Dack.

She appeared on ITV’s The Games in 2022 and presented Getting Filthy Rich.

Most recently, Olivia, who also has a place on the Loose Women panel, landed a huge new dating show on ITV.

She’s the host of Bad Boyfriends, “a unique relationship competition” in which girlfriends take their boyfriends to court for being “flirts, cheaters, commitment-phobes and man-children.”

I am a CELEBRITY

In November 2024, The Sun exclusively revealed how Maura had been selected for I’m A Celebrity 2024.

She currently stars in the series and has quickly become a favorite among viewers.

A Jungle insider told The Sun at the time of her casting: “She will bring a bit of glamor to the Jungle and will make a brilliant campmate because she has a great sense of humor and she will necessarily hear with everyone.”

And Maura is the second Love Island star to be chosen for I’m A Celeb, after Olivia.

Olivia was forced to pull out of the hit reality show after just 24 hours in 2022 due to an anemia attack.

It was a big blow for Liv who was one of the early favorites to go all the way and win the iconic program.

After that, in an exclusive interview with the Sun on behalf of AliExpress, Olivia revealed that a spot in the jungle was hers when the time was right.

“I obviously want to, at some point, do Jungle properly,” she said. “Which obviously broke my heart, what happened last time. We had this conversation last year, and now it’s more of a scheduling issue for me.

THE REAL QUARREL

The Sun may reveal the truth behind Olivia’s wild rant – and it has nothing to do with I’m a celebrity star Maura.

Sources close to Olivia set the record straight – and it was in fact fellow Love Island alum Laura Anderson, 34.

A close source said: “The idea that this is Maura Higgins is absolutely absurd. Olivia has no problem with Maura.

“The truth is, this is Laura Anderson, and people are totally on the wrong end of the stick.”

Just this week, the Stirling native gave fans pause by mirroring Olivia’s fringe haircut in a BTS video from a photo shoot.

And it’s not over yet.

The source continued: “Laura recently asked for the same hand tattoos as Olivia and the guy flatly refused.

“She even visited Olivia’s cosmetic doctor, Dr Saleena Zimri, who came from Scotland just for this.

“It’s obvious she’s trying to emulate Olivia’s look and it hasn’t gone unnoticed. Olivia feels like it’s crossing the line.”
