Chandigarh sector 26 nightclub bomb blasts: Criminals linked to gangster Goldy Brar arrested | Chandigarh News

Chandigarh/Hisar: The craze of settling abroad – a dream that many locals hope to realize one day – has led two criminals, once imprisoned in different cases, straight to gangsterdom. Goldy Brarthe network. The duo, Vinay and Ajit Sherawat, were tasked with throwing bombs at two night clubs in Sector 26 in Chandigarh, possibly to spread terror for extortion purposes. All instructions were sent to them via the Signal app.
Although Vinay and Ajit managed to flee the city after carrying out the blasts in the early hours of November 26, they could not go beyond Hisar, their native district. They were arrested following an encounter with police in Hisar and Chandigarh. Both were shot in the leg during retaliatory shooting by the police.

Now, police teams are trying to arrest those responsible for the blasts.
Police said Vinay’s mother was in the Haryana police and he had a bachelor’s degree. Both the accused were also kabaddi players.
Cops said Randeep Malik, a close associate of Goldy Brar based in the US, orchestrated bomb blasts outside clubs located in Sector 26. The two accused communicated with Goldy’s associate Brar via the Signal app. Randeep allegedly told them via the application where to collect the bombs and weapons. Malik would have provided them with everything.
The police will question them to find out from where they acquired the bombs and weapons and will try to find out the motive behind the incident.
