Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce react to Hailee Steinfeld’s engagement

On Friday, Hailee Steinfeld announced that she and her boyfriend Josh Allen are now engaged, and her friends Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were quick to respond. Steinfeld’s announcement was posted on Instagram along with their engagement date, November 22, and a photo of the moment Allen got down on one knee. The couple stands on the edge of a cliff in the photo, surrounded by candles and a beautiful floral frame.

Kelce commented on her post: “Congratulations!!! .”

Swift simply “liked” the joint post, but may have reached out to Steinfeld off social media. The two have been friends for over a decade now and Steinfeld even appeared in Swift’s iconic “Bad Blood” music video as The Trinity.

Fans responded to Kelce’s comment by asking him to put a ring on Swift’s finger. Engagement rumors have followed the NFL player and his Eras Tour girlfriend for some time.

In October, Kelce shared his feelings on his episode New heights podcast about how you know when it’s time to take the “next step” in a relationship.

“I feel like it’s when you know someone’s life,” he said. “When you see someone’s daily routine and you can understand it, you get into a routine of being with that person or talking to them about their daily routine in a consistent way. Naturally, you just feel the true connection.

Travis added that the need to “move to the next step faster” should come “naturally.”

In May this year, a source said Entertainment tonight that the couple’s friends and family see an engagement coming “as soon as possible”.

The source explained, “Taylor and Travis are doing great and those close to them see an engagement coming sooner rather than later. They have a great match, no doubt about it.
