Government and CMD agree on 25% salary increase for health workers

Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Medical Association (CMD), led by President Waldo Ariel Suero, reached an agreement with the government to implement a 25% salary increase for health workers. The adjustment will be carried out in three stages to improve the remuneration and working conditions of medical staff.

The first phase provides for a 10% increase starting in January 2025, followed by another 10% increase in June 2025. The final 5% increase will take effect in January 2026. This structured approach aims to deliver financial improvements progressive benefits for employees in the health sector.
