Fiber Coupled Digital LEDs – International

Edmund Optics has expanded its product inventory by introducing a line of fiber-coupled digital LEDs.

Providing a compact, high radiant power solution for applications such as spectroscopy, optogenetics and fluorescence, fiber-coupled digital LEDs offer significant advantages over conventional analog solutions typically used by researchers and engineers.

Their built-in software is compatible with LabVIEW, MATLAB, and Python, making it easy to integrate into existing lab setups. Using passive thermal management, LEDs operate without fans or replacement lamps, reducing noise and the need for frequent maintenance compared to traditional configurations.

The all-in-one design simplifies installation and use, streamlining workflows for researchers and engineers.

Covering wavelengths from 275 to 940 nm, these digital fiber coupled LEDs from Edmund Optics provide up to 250 mW of output power and include an integrated driver and controller. They provide full control over output power, pulse duration and other parameters without requiring additional hardware.
