Rachel Zegler Shines in First Trailer for New Disney Live-Action Snow White

Snow White is the latest Disney princess to get the live-action treatment, starring Rachel Zegler in the title role alongside Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen, and the first trailer has now arrived.

Marc Webb, the director behind (500) days of summer, The Amazing Spider-ManAnd Gifteddirects the production, which was carried out by WICKEDMarc Platt and Jared LeBoff.

A reimagining of the 1937 Disney animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, snow White is a live-action musical comedy featuring all-new music from the EGOT-winning duo behind The greatest showmanBenj Pasek and Justin Paul.

Ahead of its March 2025 theatrical release, following a production delay following last year’s strikes, Disney has released the first trailer, showcasing the dynamic world Webb has built with his team, and teasing a new song , Waiting for a wish.

We see Zegler and Gadot in action and watch the power dynamic form between Zegler’s gentle soul, who focuses on kindness, and see Gadot combat that with her taking on her equally iconic character.

There’s also a glimpse of beloved characters Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy and Sneezy, who Snow White will live with, and there’s a familiar ditty at the end for fans of the original .

snow White will hit theaters on March 21, 2025, but for now we have our first look at what to expect from Disney’s latest live-action adventure.
