The iconic Married At First Sight star is set to ‘make a HUGE return to the show to shake things up’

A British Married At First Sight legend is reportedly “set to make an explosive return” to the beloved Channel 4 show.

Ella Morgan, 30, who made history as the first transgender bride on last year’s show, could soon “shake things up”.

The Celebs Go Dating star could be one of the biggest faces featured in the upcoming one-off special episode, which was filmed on Friday and will air early next year.

A source told The Sun: “Ella is MAFS royalty so the special wouldn’t have been the same without her.

“She will be back, alongside some of the most memorable characters from the most recent series, and the producers are confident she will shake things up.”

“Now she’s got MAFS and Celebs Go Dating under her belt, she knows what makes good TV and shouldn’t talk to her.”

During her famous stint on Married at First Sight, Ella had an affair with JJ Slater, 32, although she returned as a new couple, it wasn’t meant to be for the ex-couple.

Although they agreed to remain friends, JJ has since moved on with glamor model Katie Price.

In June, Ella revealed she almost quit Celebs Go Dating just hours after filming.

The reality star was “excited” to have signed up to the E4 show, but found pursuing romance in front of the cameras had “triggered” her.

Speaking to Instagram Stories at the time, she said: “I’m really excited about this trip, but I almost quit the other day. It was just so much.

“It was quite triggering. I don’t know what I expected. I thought it was going to be a breeze and a walk in the park.

“It’s definitely more of a solo trip than MAFS. With Celebs Go Dating, you figure out what you’re doing right, what you’re doing wrong, what you need to work on.

Ella explained that taking part in the E4 dating show is more of a “solo” experience than MAFS, but she doesn’t want to use her platform to only talk about her transition, which she began when she was 16.

She continued: “It’s definitely more of a solo journey than MAFS. With Celebs Go Dating, you figure out what you’re doing right, what you’re doing wrong, what you need to work on.

“It all stems from certain things and obviously my transition is a big part of it, but I don’t just want my therapist to talk about my transition, I want to talk about life.”
