How to do it Yellow stone Cowboy Hat Cocktail

Fill a Collins glass with your favorite type of ice cream. I used medium sized cubes so they wouldn’t melt too quickly and dilute the drink. Next, cut a lime into thin slices. Next, place two to three of these lime slices inside the glass around the inside edges. Next, add half an ounce of freshly squeezed lime juice, half an ounce of agave, two dashes of Peychaud’s bitters and an ounce of tequila, and stir everything gently. Then slowly top off the drink with four ounces of Prosecco.

My honest review of the Yellow stone Cowboy Hat Cocktail Recipe

It only took a few minutes to make two cocktails, which I loved because I’m always looking for quick and easy drinks to serve to my friends when they visit. I keep a well-stocked bar at home with plenty of bitters (my fiancé is an avid collector), so I had no problem spotting Peychaud’s on my cart. The rest of the ingredients in this drink are also staples that I tend to keep in my kitchen.

A quick overview of Peychaud bitters: they are known on the New Orleans mixology scene and used in a famous cocktail called the Sazerac. It mimics the flavor of maraschino cherries with a touch of star anise. You can easily find bottles at most stores selling spirits.

As soon as you take a sip, this Cowboy Hat cocktail delivers a bold punch of citrus flavors. The bitterness and agave of Peychaud give this drink delicately sweet notes. And for the grand finale, Prosecco bubbles give this libation an ultra crisp and sparkling finish. Even though I’ve never sat down to watch an episode of Yellow stoneIf the show is as cutting edge as this recipe, then it’s worth the hype.

Tips for making the Yellow stone Cowboy Hat Cocktail

  • Swap out the Peychaud bitters. If you don’t have access to Peychaud bitters, you can also use Angostura bitters, old fashioned bitters, vermouth or dry sherry; just keep in mind that the final flavor will vary slightly.

  • Make it frothy. If you add half an egg white to this recipe and shake it vigorously instead of stirring, you’ll get a fluffy garnish for your cocktail.

  • Upgrade the rim. To further enhance the citrus notes of your libation, create a rim of salt or Tajin.
