SZA Says She Regrets Getting Her BBL: ‘I’m So Angry I Did That’

Many celebrities have expressed regret about having Brazilian butt lifts over the past couple of years, and singer SZA is the latest to make the admission. During an interview with British Vogueartist Snooze expressed his regrets.

“I’m so angry that I did that,” the “Snooze” singer said in the December issue of the magazine released Thursday.

SZA surprised fans when she came out with a BBL in 2022 and subtly confirmed she had one in her hit song “Conceited.” The Grammy Award-winning artist also received the BBL when she broke her ankle.

“I gained all this weight by staying still while recovering and trying to preserve fat. It was so stupid,” she said. “But who cares? You have a BBL, you realize you didn’t need it,” she said. Sza added that the BBL wasn’t necessary because she had more important things to focus on.

“I need to get my fucking sanity back,” she told the magazine, adding, “That doesn’t mean you can’t do these things simultaneously, just, for me, I realize that where If you go, you will be there.”

The SOS singer expressed some dissonance during the interview because while she admitted regretting her decision, she also expressed how much she loved her voluptuous physique. The actress also doesn’t give a categorical no to future cosmetic procedures.

“But I like my butt. Don’t get me wrong. My booty is pretty,” she shared. “And I’m grateful that it looks kind of…I don’t know, sometimes natural, but I don’t care.”

Other stars who have openly shared their regrets about cosmetic procedures include Cardi B, Angela White, formerly known as Blac Chyna, and rapper Latto. Cardi B and Angela have also taken steps to reverse their BBLs.
