Sophie Rain issues warning to OnlyFans after earning million in 2024 FR24 News English

Popular OnlyFans creator Sophie Rain sent an honest message to other women after revealing she made over $40,000,000 from the subscription platform this year.

The staggering amount of money was revealed by Rain, who shared how much she made from November 2023 to November 2024, with a screenshot of her OnlyFans account showing a gross income of $43,477,695 (£34,069,290 ).

As part of the huge amount of money she had accumulated from people paying for her photos and videos, she revealed that a single fan had actually sent her over $4.7 million alone .

“A big thank you to my best spender for being there from the beginning,” she posted.

Still only 20 years old, the US native revealed her winnings in a TikTok video with fellow OnlyFans creator Camilla Araujo, with Araujo revealing that Rain had raised $400,000 in just the last seven days before the filming of the music video.

However, not everyone believed Rain’s revelation, with some calling it a so-called publicity stunt to be picked up by the press.

Adam22, a podcaster and adult star himself, shared the top spending post, adding: “Everyone I’ve spoken to who works in the OnlyFans industry agrees that these numbers are false and will kindly ask you to post screen recordings.”

Real name Adam Grandmaison, he added: “I’m not ‘crazy’, I just think you all should know this is marketing and not news. Yes, she’s very popular but her team management fudges its numbers to attract media attention (and it works).”

Rain fired back directly at Adam22, posting a screen recording of his photo on his OF account to show that the winnings were legitimate.

“Nothing is fake. I hope this helps,” she simply replied.

As Rain’s earnings — and her having to defend the numbers as real — went viral, she released a statement to those viewing her social media.

And in it, she issued a warning to women who might see what she’s won and be tempted to venture into creating their own subscription-based adult content on OnlyFans.

“I don’t want girls to think, ‘oh, if Sophie Rain does this, I should do it too,'” Rain posted on X (formerly Twitter).

She added: “This career is not sunshine and rainbows 24/7 and if you can’t make it, it will NOT be worth it.

“To everyone who is doing it, I wish you success, but please don’t quit your job over this.”

So even though she made it rain (sorry), she says OF is like any success story in any industry.

The cream of the crop don’t show what everyone else looks like; Some OF creators have publicly stated that they wish they had never posted nudes.
