Even though fans are delighted that Young Thug was released from prisonit seems that the rapper himself is not very happy with the conditions of his release.

Wednesday, during a live broadcast of “TheFitLawyerATL“, Keith Adams, who represented the Atlanta rapper with Brian Steel in the the longest trial in Georgian historygave an overview of the case and his celebrity client’s thoughts.

Asked about the acquittal of Yak Gotti and Shannon Stillwell, the final two defendants in the trial, Adams said he spoke to Thug shortly afterward and said “his reaction was twofold.”

Adams shared: “He was happy for (Gotti) and for Stillwell. Very happy. He was happy that they were coming home. There was a part of him, I think, that thought, ‘You know what, we probably should have gone through with it because we could have come out of there with a not guilty verdict as well.’

He continued: “I agree, we would have done it and we wanted to. There came a time when Jeffery made the decision to plead guilty and go home that day, and he did. So his reaction, he was happy for them but there was a bit of regret on his part.

He later added that despite some regrets, he was happy to be home.

Although Thug was at home, he agreed to plead guilty to several drug and gun charges.

The ‘So Much Fun’ rapper cannot travel to metro Atlanta for the next 10 years and cannot have any contact with affiliated gang members, according to NBC News.

He must also complete 100 hours of community service each year, including giving presentations promoting anti-gun violence and anti-gang action to children in the Atlanta area.
