Must-See Trailer for Scott Derrickson’s Sci-Fi Thriller ‘The Gorge’

“Any contact with the other party is strictly prohibited.” Apple + Skydance have revealed the official trailer for an intriguing new sci-fi action thriller called The Gorgesa new film directed by Scott Derrickson (of Sinister, Doctor Strange, The black phone 1 + 2). The film is set to stream on Apple TV+ starting in February, just in time for Valentine’s Day, early next year – unfortunately this is just a streaming debut and no release in theaters (to our knowledge). Two highly trained snipers (Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy) are assigned to positions in guard towers located on either side of a vast, highly classified gorge, protecting the world from a mysterious evil and undisclosed hidden there. They bond at a distance while trying to remain vigilant to defend themselves against an invisible enemy. Despite the corrupt and murderous world they operate in, they still find a kindred spirit in each other. Ah so It is why it’s a Valentine’s Day release. He shares the spotlight Anya Taylor-Joy & Miles Telleras well as William Houston, Samantha Coughlan, Alessandro Garcia, Greta Hansenand featuring Sigourney Weaver. It feels like a George Miller film – much bigger in scope and scale than expected, a love story intertwined with a story about our defense of the gates of hell. Wow.
