As The Future Past Tour concludes after 81 shows in front of more than 1.4 million fans, from Ljubljana to the Coachella Valley and from Western Australia to Sao Paulo, Iron Maiden is delighted to announce that stepping behind the kit for 2025 is a name familiar to many of them. our fans – Simon Dawson, former session drummer and Steve’s rhythm section partner for the last 12 years with British Lion.

Hailing from Suffolk, England, Simon first teamed up with Steve Harris in 2012. He debuted three tracks on British Lion’s critically acclaimed debut and sophomore album, “The Burning,” as well as as on many subsequent tours of the United States. United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, Japan, New Zealand and, more recently, Mexico and South America.

Iron Maiden will celebrate their 50th anniversary next year with the Run For Your Lives tour which kicks off in Budapest on May 27.
