Delhi Nursery Admission 2025-26: As per the official notification, the admission process along with availability of forms will start from November 28, 2024.

The Directorate of Education, Delhi has released the official admission schedule for entry level classes (aged below six years) for open seats (other than EWS/DG/CWSN category seats) in recognized unaided private schools in the national capital for the academic session 2025-26.

According to the official announcement, the admission process along with the provision of forms will begin on November 28, 2024. Moreover, the final admission process will end on March 14, 2025. Schools can only charge a registration fee. Non-refundable registration fee of Rs 25 and purchase the optional school prospectus.

“To carry out the admission process in entry level (under six) classes in recognized private unaided schools of Delhi, the following admission schedule along with instructions are published to conduct admissions for open seats (other than EWS/DG/CWSN. Category seats) for the academic session 2025-26,” the official statement mentioned.

The admission schedule includes open admissions for groups other than Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Disadvantaged Groups (DG) and Children with Special Needs (CWSN). To maintain transparency, the calendar requires institutions to prominently display this admission calendar on their websites and notice boards.

Delhi Nursery Admission 2025-26: Complete Timetable

November 25, 2024: Schools must upload their particular admission criteria and associated points in the Directorate module.

November 28, 2024: Forms will be made available and the admission process will begin.

December 20, 2024: The deadline for submitting application forms to schools.

January 3, 2025: Uploading information about children who have applied for school admission through Open Seats.

January 10, 2025: Download the grades (according to the points system) awarded to each child who requested admission under open seats.

January 17, 2025: Schools will publish the first list of selected applicants, including waitlists, using a points-based method.

January 18 to 27, 2025: Resolving any queries from parents (via written/email/verbal interaction) regarding allocation of points to their children for the first list.

February 3, 2025: The date of publication of the second list of selected children (if applicable) (including the waiting list) (along with the grades awarded under the points system).

February 5 to 11, 2025: Resolving any parental queries (via written/email/verbal interaction) regarding the allocation of points to their children in the second list.

February 26, 2025: Second list of qualified candidates (if applicable).

March 14, 2025: The admission process will be officially closed.

Under the provisions of the Right to Education Act, 25 percent of seats are reserved for EWS, DG and CWSN students.
