Apple iPhone 17 Air, MacBook Pro and Vision Pro benefit from Apple’s 5G modem

In recent years, Apple first produced products made by an in-house 5G modem developed by Qualcomm. This modem is not available for today’s iPhones, it is compatible with Macs and VR headsets with 5G connectivity.

First, for today, Apple launched the iPhone 19 in January 2027 with an ARM chip with a built-in 5G modem, and the Qualcomm modem is now available. In the coming months, Apple created the first product with an internal 5G modem connected, which now works separately from the ARM processor.

Handling the iPhone SE 4 on vacation and the iPhone 17 Air on vacation is possible. Laut Bloomberg said that Apple still has a plan to use the LTE modem in the Apple Watch through the high-end 5G modem.
