Oasis fans fear the worst after Liam Gallagher teased ‘massive announcement’

LIAM Gallagher left fans panicked after teasing a “massive announcement”.

The Champagne Supernova singer has fans listening to his every word since he announced Oasis would reunite for a tour next year.

So now it looks like he’s having a little fun with it.

On X (formerly Twitter) this Saturday afternoon, Liam wrote: “Massive announcement coming. »

Sending a wave of excitement to fans, guesses immediately included new tour dates, special performances, or surprise additions to shows.

The running gag was the idea that Blur – who fronted Oasis during the 90s Britpop era – would sign on as a support act.

“Albarn joined Oasis?” one fan wrote, with another saying: “you and Damon are best friends?”

“Will we have another oasis album.” said another.

Others feared Liam had already fallen out with his brother Noel, which could put the tour in jeopardy.

However, less than 10 minutes later the cheeky star wrote: “IM THE F**KNG B*XX CMON”

It’s unclear if this is the real “announcement”, although many believe it is and that it was close to a conclusion.

“Oh yeah, we already knew that,” said one response while others called it “criminal size.”

“F**K OFF YOU TEASE,” one fan joked, while another told him to “Take a bow.”

“Whether you’re celebrating an achievement or just in the mood for hype, that energy comes through loud and clear,” added a third.

“I bet right now you’re looking at our answers and laughing,” noted a fourth.
