Chewy Oatmeal Coconut Bars

Ingredients:

1 cup of flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda, leveled
1/4 teaspoon of salt
2/3 cup light brown sugar
1/3 cup canola oil
1 large egg
1/3 cup of milk
½ teaspoon of vanilla
1 cup quick oats, uncooked
½ cup chopped walnuts
½ cup grated coconut flakes

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, soda and salt.
  2. Then add the sugar, oil, egg, milk and vanilla and beat with an electric mixer until smooth. This takes about two minutes.
  3. Stir and incorporate the oats, nuts and coconut.
  4. Spread in a greased 7×11-inch baking dish.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
  6. Cool and cut into bars.
  7. APPRECIATE!
