The couple prepared fans for explosive scenes

In addition to his controversial union with boyfriend Joe Blackman, Junaid found himself stuck in a series of heated arguments that led him to refuse to speak to some co-stars.

This led to speculation that he could be set to leave the show for good amid the rows, but in an exclusive interview with The Sun, Junaid clarified that this couldn’t be further from the truth.

Speaking to us at the Tulley Christmas Lights Festival, the reality star revealed he isn’t going anywhere and will soon be heading to Bali to start filming the film. following series of the show.

Junaid told us, “I’ve heard a lot of rumors that I’m planning to leave the show – let me tell you one thing, I’m not going anywhere!

“As much as my actors probably want me too!

“I think people would probably be happy if I left, but I’m not leaving TOWIE anytime soon, I literally love the show.”

Junaid was joined by his partner Joe as he spoke to The Sun as they gushed about how being part of the program had “changed their lives” after bringing them closer together.

But ahead of a new series, the action appears to have shown no signs of slowing down, with the loved-up couple teasing the upcoming Essexmas special as the most “explosive” ever.

Junaid told The Sun: “I would sit here and say this is probably the most explosive Christmas special TOWIE has ever had.”

Joe added: “I’ve never experienced anything like this.”

One actor the star is likely to come into conflict with is her former close friend, Dani Imbert.

An explosive argument between Junaid and Dani destroyed their friendship with Dani recently admitting there seemed unlikely to be a comeback for the couple after recent attempts to rectify their friendship failed.

“We talked, but it wasn’t resolved,” Dani said.

“It wasn’t heated and it wasn’t a massive argument, but we realized we are two different people.”
