Beyoncé Reportedly Staying Faithful to Jay-Z Amid Rape Allegations

Beyoncé would have stayed by her husband’s side Jay-Z amid allegations he raped a 13-year-old girl at a party with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in 2000. Combs and Jay-Z, his real name Shawn Carterhave denied the allegations.

On Tuesday (local time), Beyoncé, 43, and Jay-Z, 55, attended the premiere of Mufasa: The Lion King. They attended the premiere alongside Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowlesand their eldest daughter Blue ivy12-year-old who made her film debut as the voice of Princess Kiara.

According to an inside source, the family’s united presence at the event is indicative of Beyoncé’s choice to stand by her husband amid the recent trial.

“She’s sticking by Jay, as evidenced by last night’s family outing,” the insider told Page Six.

This was confirmed by a second source, who claimed that the former Destiny’s Child member “has no plans to leave Jay-Z” because she “believes him wholeheartedly.”

“(The Carters are) a team and will face this situation together,” the source said, noting that Beyoncé “will support him throughout.”

Jay-Z found himself in a civil lawsuit on Sunday. When the lawsuit was initially filed, it only named Sean “Diddy” Combs as a defendant. However, this week the lawsuit was refiled to include the “Drunk In Love” rapper, in which Jane Doe, who initiated the lawsuit, claimed the two artists raped her after an after-party of the MTV Music Awards in 2000.

In response, Jay-Z shared an explosive statement on his professional Roc Nation account in which he criticized the allegations and blamed a Texas-based lawyer. Tony Buzbee — who has filed several lawsuits against Combs — for filing a lawsuit for “attempted blackmail.”

“My lawyer was the subject of an attempted blackmail, called a demand, by a ‘lawyer’ named Tony Buzbee,” he began.

“What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle. No sir, it had the opposite effect! This made me want to call you out for the fraud that you are in a VERY public way. So no, I won’t give you A RED PENNY.

However, Buzbee claims his client never intended to receive money from filing a civil suit against Jay-Z or Combs.

“What he fails to say in his recent statement is that my office sent his lawyer a formal notice on behalf of an alleged victim and that victim never asked him for a cent,” wrote Buzbee on X.

“Instead, she only requested confidential mediation. Since I sent the letter on his behalf, Mr. Carter has not only sued me, but has also attempted to intimidate and harass me and this complainant. His conduct had the opposite impact. She is emboldened. I am very proud of his determination.

“As to the allegations contained in the filed complaint, we will let the record speak for itself and plead the facts in court, not to the media.”

Jay-Z has since filed court documents requesting that the case against him be dismissed and that the name of his accuser be made public. While Buzbee claimed he and his family have been targeted in “a coordinated effort” to silence him since he began representing more than 120 alleged victims of Sean “Diddy” Combs.

“Despite a coordinated and aggressive effort that included harassing my children, contacting my clients and former clients to encourage them to sue me…I am still THAT guy,” he wrote on Instagram.

Jay-Z did not comment on Buzbee’s Instagram post.
