Is One Piece preparing for a new timeskip?

One piece has finally brought Luffy and the Straw Hats to Elbaf more than two decades since his first appearance in Eiichiro Oda’s original manga series, and the series could be gearing up for a huge change in its status quo with an unexpected new time jump . One piece is now going through the starting stages of the second arc of the final manga saga as a whole, and it’s time to discover some of the biggest reveals of the series as Luffy and the Straw Hats gradually make their way towards the One piece treasure itself. But it could take them a lot longer than expected.

One piece Elbaf has been featured as one of the key islands in the series’ story for years, and now that the manga has started to reveal more of the island, some particular elements are starting to stand out the most. Not only is it touted as having a perfect climate that allows ships and other objects to travel on it, but there was also an ominous warning that would result in a “waste of time” during your stay. It seems that One piece will move forward several years when Luffy and the others finally leave.

One Piece Teases ‘Wasted Time’ They’ll Regret

One piece Chapter 1132 sees Luffy and the Straw Hats finally reunite on Elbaf, and a passage from Louis Arnote (who was the original adventurer after whom Little Garden was named) begins to reveal itself. Teasingly, while the giant versions of plants, animals and more seen on Elbaf are breathtaking, there is a greater danger that those visiting the island should be wary of. As Arnote warns: “Adventurers, do not regret your time wasted here… Do not overstay your welcome here. » This is such an ominous warning, but what could it mean?

It’s the “lost time” that makes it so interesting. It’s worded in such a unique way that he’s clearly up to something much more questionable than he could describe. Rather than warning adventurers not to have too much fun on the island or to reflect on its majesty, it seems to be teasing that Elbaf moves at a different time from the rest of the seas around it. In fact, it might have something to do with how the climate and other conditions of the rest of the island make it so unique.

One Piece has a different kind of timeskip on the way

One pieceThe time jump remains one of the most significant changes in the series’ history. This was such an important decision for the series that the first new Straw Hat designs are still the most prevalent among the rest. One piecepromotional materials, games and much more over the years. Now it looks like we’re going to get another one before the big finale of the story as a whole. But unlike the first jump where Luffy and the Straw Hats saw major changes since their absence, it will likely be the rest of the world that changes while Luffy and the others are on Elbaf.

Much like when Luffy and the others were on Wano while the rest of the seas were going through great changes since the Reverie, Elbaf offers his own kind of isolation. Not only is it confirmed that they don’t pay much attention to news from the outside world (apart from hearing about Luffy’s defeat against Big Mom on Wano), but something else stands out from the warning “Don’t regret your wasted time” in Arnote’s message. It could be that time passes much faster in Elbaf than in the rest of the world.

Its strange climate already evokes a different environment from the rest of the seas, and the Straw Hats’ current location atop the giant tree further isolates them from the docking points we’ve seen with Elbaf in the past. It seems that rather than Luffy and the Straw Hats changing this time, we’re going to see the rest of the seas move forward in years instead. It’s not yet clear what kind of time dilation this might be on the island itself, but this ominous warning suggests that the seas will be very different from the ones we saw last time.

With Dr. Vegapunk’s final message to the world stating that the sea is rising higher and higher every year, the world will be drastically different when Luffy returns from Elbaf. If time develops differently on the island and Luffy discovers that many years have passed during their stay, it is possible that the other emperors will make great progress towards One Piece during this time. All that remains is to determine the extent of time dilation.
