Large amount of cash, drugs and Rolexes found after police stop Ford Focus

Police seized a large quantity of cash, drugs and a Rolex watch after a car was stopped in Wirral on Tuesday (December 10) afternoon. Merseyside Police stopped a Ford Focus on Wheatland Lane, Egremont, at around 2.40pm yesterday and searched the car.

Following the search, a large quantity of cash was found. A further search of a property in Wirral uncovered a quantity of suspected drugs, a large quantity of cash and a Rolex watch.

A 25-year-old man, from Tranmere, was arrested on suspicion of acquiring, using or possessing criminal property, possession of a class A drug (cocaine) and possession of a drug of class B (cannabis). He was released under investigation pending further investigations.

A 24-year-old man, from Egremont, was also arrested on suspicion of drug driving. He was released under investigation pending further investigations.
