UFC legend Nate Diaz charged with battery after punching nightclub bouncer in the face

NATE DIAZ has been charged with battery after a bouncer at a Las Vegas nightclub accused him of assault.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports, the alleged incident took place just after midnight on August 25.

Diaz and some members of his entourage allegedly attempted to enter the Omnia at Caesars Palace on the Vegas Strip.

Police say, according to the documents, that witnesses told them that Diaz and his team were blocking the checkout line.

When an Omnia security guard came to try to see if there was a problem, the ex-UFC star allegedly made physical contact with him.

The documents state that Diaz pushed the club manager, and after the man pushed back, the fighter punched the guard in the face with “an open right hand.”

Footage surfaced online in September showing Diaz – who is also a 1-1 boxer – in an altercation at a nightclub.

The documents say Diaz and his accuser were eventually separated by other security guards before cops arrived on the scene.

Court records reveal that an arrest warrant was subsequently issued for Diaz and a misdemeanor case against the American is currently pending.

Diaz is a 34-fight MMA veteran, with 21 wins and 13 losses – including an iconic two-fight rivalry with Conor McGregor.

But Diaz – who beat McGregor in March 2016 before losing the rematch five months later – left the UFC in 2022.

He continued his transition to boxing and was defeated in ten rounds by 27-year-old YouTuber-turned-fighter Jake Paul in August 2023.

But Diaz beat Jorge Masvidal, 40, in their boxing rematch in July after losing the initial UFC fight in 2019.
